“Politics and Pints”: The electronic edition

at 02:37 PM ET, 06/12/2012

On Monday night Washington’s political intelligensia gathered to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the Watergate break-in. The rest of us went to a bar and played political trivia.

It was the latest edition of the long-running — almost two years now! — “Politics and Pints”, the Fix’s monthly homage to the trivial in politics (and everywhere else).

Since lots of you don’t live in close enough proximity to make to the brick and mortar edition of our trivia contest, we are bringing “Politics and Pints” — or at least politics — to you.

Below is the online edition of our trivia night. (Huge thanks to Post producer Natalie Jennings for putting it together.) No, you don’t get that same dank feel you do from a bar — with apologies to Moe Szyslak — but you can imagine what it’s like.

The questions are split into two categories. The first is House, Senate and governors trivia. The second is presidential trivia.

Enjoy! And, if you want on to our early-alert list for “Politics and Pints” make sure to send an email to chris.cillizza@wpost.com. We’ll let you know a few days in advance of the event itself.
