Rick Santorum allies up Wisconsin ad buy
A super PAC supporting Rick Santorum is increasing its ad buy in Wisconsin in advance of Tuesday’s primary, while pushing the case that the former Pennsylvania senator can win a delegate fight against Mitt Romney.

The Red White & Blue Fund is increasing its ad buy from $300,000 to $660,000, adding ads in Madison, Wausau and Lacrosse, and increasing existing buys in Milwaukee and Green Bay.
The group also sent out a 39-page memo arguing that Santorum could win at a brokered convention with the help of unbound delegates.
Santorum and his supporters are still vastly outspent by Romney and his allies, who have spent millions of dollars in the state.
A recent Marquette University poll had Romney leading Santorum in the April 3 contest, 34 percent to 18 percent.
But at least Santorum’s wealthy backers are standing by him. Sheldon Adelson, the casino mogul funding a super PAC in support of Newt Gingrich, said in a video posted by the Jewish Journal that the former House speaker is “at the end of his line” and “mathematically it appears he can’t get anywhere.”
