The search for the best state based political reporters continues

May 22, 2013

A few weeks back, we asked the Fix community to nominate the best state-based political reporters in each of the 50 states.

This is your media.

The response -- on the blog, on Twitter, on Facebook -- was overwhelming, and we've (papal plural) spent lots and lots of time sorting through the nominees.  In some states, we have TONS of great political reporters. But, in some states -- SHAME! -- we don't have a single one.

Before we unveil the full list -- and we are cooking up an awesome display for it so stay tuned -- we need to check these states off of our list.  The ones we need are below. If you from there or have an interest in that state's politics, hit us up in the comments section or on the Twitter machine at #fixreporters.

Here are the missing 16 (really 15 since everyone knows Jon Ralston is the king of Nevada political journalism):

Arkansas
Delaware
Georgia
Kansas
Maine
Mississippi
Nevada
New Jersey
New Mexico
North Dakota
Oklahoma
South Carolina
South Dakota
Tennessee
Utah
West Virginia
