The Fix’s government shutdown playlist

The government shutdown will be upon us in less than 12 hours -- unless House Republicans, Senate Democrats and the White House can construct some sort of last minute deal. (Don't count on it.)

In hopes of bringing a little levity to a serious situation -- and maybe putting a smile on your face in what is undoubtedly a tough time for Washington and the country -- we asked our Twitter followers to suggest songs to be part of a government shutdown Spotify playlist.
