The Fix’s Rules of Political Tweeting

The revelation that White House national security  staffer Jofi Joseph had been anonymously tweeting pejorative things about, well, everyone, cost him his job this week. And it also got us to thinking (again) about how dangerous Twitter is for politicians -- and the people they employ.

Below we provide a few rules to guide the political class as their collective fingers hover over their keyboards polishing their wit in 140-character chunks. Here's the gist: Don't be dumb.
