ISO: The best political books of 2013

December 4, 2013

The holidays are upon us! And with their arrival comes the inevitable stress of not knowing what to get that political junkie in your life. (This, of course, presumes that you have already bought said junkie five or more copies of "The Gospel According to The Fix".)

"This Town" by Mark Leibovich.

The Fix is here to relieve your stress -- or try.  We are putting together a list of the best political books of the year, a sort of buyer's guide for the holidays.

There are a few obvious choices -- "This Town","Collision 2012", "Double Down", "Days of Fire" -- but we want to hear your suggestions too! (Make sure to check out our list of the best presidential biographies and the Post's best books of 2013.) Offer them in the comments section below. We'll collect them and put them into a single blog post next week.

Chris Cillizza writes “The Fix,” a politics blog for the Washington Post. He also covers the White House.
