Kevin Spacey: Politics is ‘performance art,’ and most pols are ‘bad actors’ (video)

"House of Cards" star Kevin Spacey spent some time on Capitol Hill doing research for his role as House majority whip on the popular Netflix show. He was not impressed by what he found.

"It feels like you're watching performance art a lot of the time," Spacey told Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show" Tuesday. "I don't believe them. I don't believe what they say. I don't think they are being absolutely sincere. I think it's performance art. And most of them are bad actors."
