The new White House Press Secretary has met LeBron James

June 25, 2014

Newly-minted White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest has been on the job for three days, but things got really official when he took over the press secretary Twitter account Wednesday.

Earnest broke in the account by asking Twitter users to ask him questions. And some of them were exactly what you might expect.

Earnest answered some questions. Here are a few.

A White House intern fainted at Earnest's second press briefing. She is fine and apparently it's not too early to joke about it or poke fun at his deputies.

There's one way in which Earnest won't be following in his predecessor's footsteps.

Earnest hails from Kansas City and his bio says he is a "life-long Royals fan."

Earnest's job has some perks.

And then there were the questions that didn't get answered.

Unlike some people in Congress, Earnest didn't have anything to say about Prince's "Purple Rain", which turned 30 today.

Or a lot of other things.
