Arlington’s Remy Munasifi’s ‘brilliant’ video

Remy Munasifi hangs out with his pal Ron in Arlington. Who among us doesn't have a photo with Ron? (Photo courtesy of Remy Munasifi)
Remy Munasifi is stone cold hilarious. Here’s his latest rap on the tragic death of incandescent light bulbs, to the tune of Puff Daddy’s “I’ll Be Missing You” via the Police’s “Every Breath You Take.”

And here’s a great interview that the Express’s Kris Coronado did with Remy in 2009. Remy is a McLean guy originally, went to Langley High School, started doing stand-up at college in West Virginia and is apparently something of a country music fan. (Both Langley and country music play a big part in his recent “Free Speech Song.”) He also may associate with an alter ego named Habib, known as “Baghdad’s worst comedian..(who) .resides in Baghdad with his wife and three camels (Billy, Petey and Abdul-Rahman).”

The real Remy lives in Clarendon now. Root around his Web site and you won’t be disappointed.
