Dulles’ Air and Space Museum lands the Discovery

Of course the Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Center near Dulles International Airport was made the final home of the space shuttle Discovery on Tuesday. There was a heated nationwide competition, and The Post’s Jacqueline Trescott has all the details, including the distinguished history of the Discovery. But where else is going to give it this kind of display, like the Udvar-Hazy does with the Enterprise? Nowhere.
