Though some had feared that the new Metro stations heading out to Dulles International Airport would be above ground, and obscure the views of the airport itself, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority voted today to put the airport station itself underground. State and federal officials immediately said that was a bad idea because of the cost. The Post’s Kafia Hosh is all over this story.
