The world’s least wired countries, in 1 map

More than 80 percent of Americans have Internet access. The figure is similar in Canada, Western Europe and other industrialized nations. But other parts of the world are much less wired. In Nicaragua, only 13 percent of people have Internet access. In Pakistan it's 10 percent. And one of the least wired countries is perennially war-torn Congo, where fewer than 2 percent of people are connected to the Internet.
