The sad, sexist state of online gaming

Female gamers make up almost half of the U.S. video game market. Yet for some reason it's still a surprise to some male gamers to discover there's a woman in their midst, particularly in online multiplayer situations. The results are rarely, um, pretty.

A couple of animators on YouTube distilled some of the worst habits of male gamers into a funny, if somewhat uncomfortable, critique of the social dynamics when a "girl gamer" steps into the room.
