Until now, you could only go back to your first-ever tweet by browsing through your archives. You couldn't even look at other people's first tweets. But now you can, thanks to a new feature Twitter has unveiled called First Tweet.

With it, you can plug in any username and relive that account's initial, heady (and probably embarrassing) moments. Here, for instance, is Twitter's own first tweet.

And Barack Obama's:

Hang on. Take a look at those timestamps. Twitter's first tweet was on July 11, 2007. But Obama's was months earlier — in April. While Twitter's co-founders were active users as early as 2006, Obama seemed very keen to get an early start himself. Here are a few other notable figures' baby steps.

 

The Washington Post's first tweet, though, is kind of creepy:
