Black Hollywood caps off Howard homecoming week

This weekend was Howard University’s 87th annual homecoming and 100,000 students, alumni and others poured into Washington for the most renowned of the homecomings thrown by historically black colleges and universities.

On the final night, hundreds attended the Black Hollywood themed party on Saturday, October 22 at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse in Washington DC- THE party of the homecoming weekend . The swank affair was hosted by HU alum Tracey Lee, best known for his 1997 song “The Theme (It’s Party Time)”The party also featured another Howard alum, Grammy nominee, Eric Roberson who performed a few of his songs for the enthusiastic crowd. The party was just one of dozens of official and unofficial events celebrating Howard’s homecoming.
