Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their baby girl Blue Ivy Carter into the world on Saturday at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
The world has anxiously awaited for Beyonce to give birth and now that she has, all eyes are on little Blue Ivy, including tweets from celebrities like Rihanna and Russell Simmons congratulating the couple.
Unsurprisingly, the Internet is buzzing with confusion over the choice of name with everyone speculating if “Ivy” (I’ll spare you a ‘Say My Name’ joke) is in reference to the couple’s love of the number 4, which is also the Roman numeral “IV”.
Whatever it is, this won’t be the last we all hear or see of Blue Ivy, Beyonce’s imending baby weight-loss plan, or more reports of how the couple rented out the entire fourth floor of the Lenox Hill for $1.3 million according to various reports.
