“By Any Means” wings

It’s officially a “State of Emergency” for Skins nation. In a matter of weeks the Skins have gone from first to worst in the NFC East. This Sunday the burgundy and gold is definitely in need of a win by any means possible. Thus, this week’s tailgating recipe is my “By Any Means” wings.

First, place some toothpicks in cold water and prepare your grill for direct and indirect heating. Next, wash off your wings and remove the tips. Lightly cover your wings with olive oil before sprinkling with salt and lemon pepper herb seasoning.

Now, wrap a strip of turkey bacon around each of your wings and secure with a toothpick on each end. Place your wings on direct heat for 3 minutes per side.

Then slide the wings over for 15 minutes of indirect heat per side. Once the chicken and turkey bacon turn a golden brown; place on dish until ready to serve.

As always, tune into The Walkons Blogtalk radio show every Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
