We started Bon Appetit in 2003. Tameka, Debra, and I used to work together and went out for dinner one night and decided to get together monthly - taking turns on restaurant picks.  We decided to invite people at work who we liked. The original number was 10, but now we’re down to 7. Since 2003, we have eaten at over 90 restaurants.We've gone from 5-star restaurants to The DC Improv. We do a secret gift exchange in December.

A little detail about Kellari: We all ordered from the Prix Fixe Menu.  I ordered the scallops (not on the online menu) as the appetizer, the salmon (also not on the online menu) and the Baklava. I had the wine pairing. The other ladies had Mythos Beer. It was very popular with them in Greece.

* November’s pick is District Chophouse & Brewery (509 7th St. NW) www.chophouse.com
