Howard University and Morehouse College are taking it to the field on Sept. 1 as part of the second annual AT&T Nation’s Football Classic, the city announced Thursday. Howard University president Sidney A. Ribeau welcomes the healthy rivalry between the two schools and the fellowship it creates.

“The contributions of Howard University and Morehouse College to our nation’s higher education and sociopolitical landscape are unparalleled,” he said in a statement. “Last year was a tremendous success on the field and through our series of ‘More than a Game’ activities, including a student debate and a presidential symposium exploring strategies to address key issues affecting our communities.”

Tickets to the game start at $25 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster, Howard’s box office at Cramton Auditorium and the Morehouse College bookstore.

The JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Washington will serve as the host hotel. The game will begin at 3:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium.
