Lauriol Plaza has a new neighbor knocking at its door. Zabb opened late summer and paints a great alternative for those patrons who are hoping for a fiesta, but not a long wait.
Located directly across from Lauriol Plaza, Zabb offers a tranquil and trendy Asian vibe with a colorful atmosphere. The modern Asian house has a full service bar, a warm dining room and a rooftop deck for all the al fresco lovers in the area.
If the name sounds familiar, Zabb began as a Thai restaurant in the heart of Manassas.
Their best feature is their happy hour which is everyday (including Saturday and Sunday), from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. They've got a great selection of appetizers, nigiri, maki and signature rolls ranging from $3 to $8. Their happy hour cocktails are $5 each and are pre-made. If cocktails aren't your fancy, there are beer, wine, and saki specials that range from $4 - $6.
I love Lauriol Plaza but I dislike the wait and the crowd. Zabb suggests a warm and satisfying alternative to its area competition. If you find yourself figuring out where to go after being told you have a long wait at Lauriol, consult your palate and head across the street to Zabb. You'll be satisfied!
