Fan of the week Marcis Turner and his family show their Redskins pride.
(Troy Queen - Troy Queen )
Q: What made you become a Redskins fan?
A: First, I’m a 4th generation Washingtonian. My father was and is an avid fan and they grew on me. When I was coming up they were winning and I witnessed the best years of the franchise.
Q:Who’s your favorite player ever to wear the burgundy and gold?
A: Wow. Very tough question, as I loved Art Monk, Darrell Green and Gary Clark. Forced to name one... it would be Clark; someone most fans would not choose, but I admired his heart!
Q: What’s your most memorable Redskins moment?
A: Doug Williams winning the Super Bowl over Denver; first black quarterback and how we got to the Super Bowl.
Q: If you were Daniel Snyder, what would you do to make the Skins a Super Bowl contender?
A: I would let my coach and general manager do what they’re hired to do.
Q: What makes you a unique Skins fan?
A: It would be the fact that I really like to watch the game alone, I want total concentration on the game no distraction.
