Rick Ross concert canceled due to seizure

Rapper Rick Ross suffered a seizure this past weekend, resulting in the abrupt cancellation of a concert in Guyana scheduled for April 9, as reported by AllHipHop.com.

The rapper was set to headline the Easter Fest Rozay Monday show in the Guyana National Stadium alongside Jamaican dancehall artist Mr. Vegas, according to the Guyana Chronicle Online.

The Guyanese promoters at Hits and Jams Entertainment confirmed in a statement that the sudden emergency rendered the Maybach Music mogul unable to fly. “The artist has suffered a medical emergency and has been ordered by his doctors not travel," they said in a statement.

Ross was also scheduled to perform at the Bayou Music Center, formerly the Verizon Wireless Theater, in Houston on April 8. He missed that performance as well.

This is not the first time Ross has given fans a health scare. He suffered a series of seizures on his way to a concert in Memphis last October. This is his third one.

The rapper’s reps stated that a make-up concert in Guyana is in the works as soon as he receives medical clearance.
