CNAS announces William J. Perry chair for CEO

The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) has announced the creation of the William J. Perry Chair in Strategic Studies, which is reserved for the think tank’s CEO.

Perry was the founding chairman of the CNAS Board of Directors and remains a current member of the board.

The William J. Perry Chair in Strategic Studies is reserved for the Chief Executive Officer of CNAS, currently held by Nathaniel Fick.

According to a news release, “The CEO will contribute to informed public debate on vital national security issues; mentor the next generation of national security leaders; and promote research and analysis on topics such as U.S. national security, defense acquisition and platforms, technological change, conventional and nuclear deterrence, and American grand strategy.”
