Heritage Action condemns debt deal, urges Congress to vote ‘no’ due to ‘massive tax hikes, massive defense cuts’

Heritage Action for America, the lobbying wing of the Heritage Foundation, released a statement this morning condemning the proposed Budget Control Act of 2011. They are also urging members of Congress to vote ”no” on the act.

Heritage Action, which appears miffed that Congress did not follow “the standards which Heritage Action has set forth during the course of the debate,” insists that the deal will lead to “massive tax hikes, massive defense cuts, or both.”
