The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) has announced the 2012-2013 class of its Next Generation National Security Leaders program.
The 16 individuals, who come from government, the military, academia and the private sector will primarily engage in ongoing debates with leading practitioners through the program’s regular dinner discussion series. The program also provides opportunities such as “private CNAS events, off-site visits and meetings and potentially contribute to collaborative writing projects and travel internationally,” according to the Web site.
The program is led by John Nagl, CNAS non-resident senior fellow and Minerva Research Fellow at the U.S. Naval Academy, and Steve Biegun, corporate officer and vice president of International Governmental Affairs for Ford Motor Co.
