Of course

Of course if you got fired and have no money and can’t find a job this doesn’t matter.

Of course if you aren’t making enough at your job to get out of debt this doesn’t matter.

Of course if you are making enough to get by but not have an investment plan, this doesn’t matter.

But if you are trying to put together your own retirement plan because pensions are going away and you don’t have any choice and you play by the rules and listen to the advice and put some money into stocks like they tell you to, you just possibly won’t be entirely surprised to learn that other, larger, players have the game nicely rigged in their favor and keep skimming off free money from the top of YOUR returns, by means that you are not expected to notice or understand.

But bottom line, you get the leftovers, if any.

Of course.
