Royal pain

Writers are scratching about for an interesting ‘take’ on the Royal Wedding. Maybe I should too! It’s apparently a SUBJECT WE ARE ALL INTERESTED IN. Is it?

Here’s my “take.” Let’s ask the ghost of one of our brave forefathers who took a royal musketball in the face for the cause of freedom from royalty if he’s excited about the nuptials! End of “take.”

Maybe we should have skipped the war, like Canada did, and many of the other wars that seemed so pressing at the time, and then we could enjoy the wedding more thoroughly. An interesting question, but not half so interesting as who’s on the guest list.

Also, remember to enter the latest round of my Cartoon Caption Contest here.
