February 2013? Apparently, it’s the month of Beyonce.
About six weeks after the NFL confirmed that Beyonce will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 6, HBO announced that she will also be the subject of her very own feature-length documentary film, premiering about a week later, and directed by the R&B singer herself.
Still untitled, the film is a “multi-faceted portrait of the 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer, businesswoman, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, wife and mother,” the announcement said, going all the way back to Beyonce’s childhood in Houston.
Plus, look for footage that Beyonce took herself, in which she reflects on the perils of being so famous, and talks about becoming a mother earlier this year. (Presumably, this means we’ll get lots of adorable photos of Blue Ivy Carter.)
The documentary will debut on HBO on Feb. 16.
