Bret Michaels sues CBS, producers over Tony Awards incident

Bret Michaels at the 2009 Tony Awards. (Peter Kramer - AP) Remember the 2009 Tony Awards broadcast on CBS in which Bret Michaels walked into a piece of the set as it was being lowered from above, which caught him in the forehead and knocked him over?

Well, Michaels is suing the network and the producers over that injury, which Michaels says led to his brain hemorrhage about 10 months later. Michaels survived that brain hemorrhage and went on to win the spring 2010 edition of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
