Fox News Channel extends Roger Ailes contract for four more years

Roger Ailes has just signed a new, four-year contract to continue as CEO and chairman of Fox News, and chairman of Fox Television Stations, News Corp. announced on Friday.

Ailes, who started Fox News Channel in 1996, will oversee everything from FNC, Fox Business Network, Fox TV stations, Twentieth Television and MyNetworkTV.

In this extension, he will also continue to serve as senior advisor on TV and news to News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch, the announcement added.
