Fox News Channel lands first TV interview with George Zimmerman

Fox News Channel has landed the first TV interview with George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman, the Florida man charged in the fatal shooting of teenager Trayvon Martin, will appear on Sean Hannity’s talk show, ”Hannity,” at 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s defense attorney, will also be on the show answering questions, the network said in a press release. The interview will take up the whole hour of Hannity’s show.

Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder, and is awaiting his trial. His defense team filed a motion last week to asking for a new judge.
