Fox postpones ‘Family Guy,’ American Dad’ and ‘Cleveland Show’ episodes because of storm storyline

A “Family Guy” rerun will air instead on Sunday. (CR: FOX - CR: FOX)
Seth MacFarlane’s animated Sunday shows on Fox have been pulled because of the episodes’ crossover in which a major storm sweeps through all three programs.

Affected are MacFarlane’s “Family Guy,” “The Cleveland Show,” and “American Dad.”

A Fox spokeswoman told the TV Column the decision was made to hold the episodes in light of this week’s tornado outbreak.

The storms that started Wednesday are being called the deadliest natural disaster since Hurricane Katrina.

As of Friday afternoon, officials had put the death toll at about 300 people.

The Fox rep said the episodes will air next spring and re-runs have been scheduled in their place for this Sunday.

The move does not affect Sunday’s original episode of “The Simpsons.”
