BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTRESS IN A MINI-SERIES OR MOTION PICTURE MADE FOR TELEVISION

Winner: Julianne Moore in “Game Change.” Moore, who played Sarah Palin in the HBO project, gave a special shout out to Tina Fey and Katie Couric — the former of whom impersonated Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live,” and the latter of whom asked Sarah Palin what newspapers she read in an interview that didn’t go so well for Palin, and which made “Game Change” possible.
