Howard Stern will visit ‘The View,’ NBC talk shows to promote ‘America's Got Talent’

Howard Stern (Evan Agostini - AP)

With about six weeks until Howard Stern makes his primetime network debut on NBC reality show “America’s Got Talent” on May 14, the shock jock announced he’s ramping up the publicity in the coming days. He will be visiting “The View,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and the “Today” show in an effort to promote the talent show, according to a tweet from his satellite radio show’s Twitter account.

Conspicuously missing from this list: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Though given how vocal Stern has been about his dislike for Leno, it’s unlikely, which is unfortunate for everyone who loves trainwreck TV.

Stern has been traveling the country over the last few weeks for auditions; NBC wound up moving the competition series from Los Angeles to New York so Stern could take part while also working on his NYC-based radio program.
