Jamie Foxx-produced sketch show gets a start date

Jamie Foxx (R) and “rising comedic talent” Affion Crockett (L). (Kwaku Alston - Fox) Fox finally announced the start date and name for its Jamie Foxx-produced sketch comedy show.

It’s debuting on August 14 instead of June, as originally announced, and will be called “In the Flow With Affion Crockett” — Affion Crockett being the name of the “rising comedian” who will headline the show. You may have seen him in MTV’s “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out.”

Fox promises the show is going to feature rapper-actor Snoop Dogg, singer Chris Brown, sports analyst Michael Strahan and comedian JB Smoove, among others.

Of course, Fox also promised it was going to debut in June.
