Jimmy Fallon’s show will go on Monday night — without an audience

Jimmy Fallon was determined for the show to go on Monday night, despite the hurricane — with or without an audience.

A few hours after offering that everyone in the studio audience would get free ice cream, Fallon turned to Twitter to announce that the show had sent the audience home, but would still resume taping.

“We sent our audience home just to be safe. But we are doing our show tonight anyway. Should be fun,” Fallon tweeted shortly, after Jimmy Kimmel announced his Monday show would also be canceled in the wake of the storm.
