Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga pump up “SNL” finale ratings

Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga clocked the highest season finale ratings in seven years for “Saturday Night Live,” according to very preliminary statistics that only cover the nation’s largest markets.

The NBC late night show continued its four season streak of improving on the previous season’s finale numbers.

Last season’s finale guest starred Alec Baldwin and the musical act was Tom Petty.
