NBC cancels ‘The Paul Reiser Show’ after two episodes

Paul Reiser at the TCA press tour, promoting “The Paul Reiser Show.” (Mario Anzuoni - Reuters) Paul Reiser’s NBC sitcom has been canceled after two episodes due to low ratings.

“Well that was fast!! Apparently networks like big numbers quickly. who knew?” the actor tweeted.

“feel free to start a groundswell movement I’ll back you up. thanks for all those who tuned in and supported,” Reiser continued.

Reiser’s scheduled to be a guest on Jay Leno’s NBC late night show tonight -- that ought to be fun.
