Next Tuesday, Mitt Romney on ‘Live!,’ President Obama on ‘Letterman’

Next Tuesday is a big day for viewers who enjoy seeing presidents or presidential nominees on talk shows.

Starting in the morning, Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann, will appear as guests on newly re-titled “Live! With Kelly and Michael,” as the couple sits down with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan.

They will discuss “the excitement of 2012 campaign,” said the announcement, which added that it’s the first daytime television appearance for the Romneys.

Meanwhile, President Obama will sit down on CBS’s “Late Show With David Letterman” for his second trip to the program since being elected.

He last appeared on the show in September 2009; this is his seventh overall visit to the show since his days as a senator from Illinois.
