Tyler Perry’s first two scripted series for OWN -- An Upstairs Downstairs-ish drama and a “Love Thy Neighbor” comedy about a diner and its “zany” neighbors, will debut May 29 as OWN moves into Wednesday nights with original programming this year.

Perry has written, will direct and will produce both “The Haves and the Have Nots” and “Love Thy Neighbor.”

OWN also has ordered four new original unscripted series for 2013, network execs announced at Winter TV Press Tour 2013, in Pasadena, CA.

*“Blackboard Wars” follows “no nonsense principal Marvin Thompson as he tries to turn things around at New Orleans’s John McDonogh School, one of the worst performing high schools in the country.

*“Golden Sisters,” stars those three senior sisters who became web stars when a video of them watching Kim Kardashian’s sex tape went viral.

*“Raising Whitley” follows actress Kym Whitley as she raises the child of the girl she’d mentored as part of the Big Sister program, TV critics were told at the press tour.

* “Dogfellas,” is, as the name suggests, about a mob enforcer turned dog rescuer, in Brooklyn.
