Should Jimmy Kimmel be next year’s Oscar host? (Video)

Can we all just agree that Jimmy Kimmel should host next year’s Academy Awards?

Here’s his movie homage intro to his annual post-Oscar show, which was much more fun than the one that kicked off the actual Oscars, hosted by Billy Crystal.

Kimmel’s intro also upstaged Oprah, his “guest” for Sunday’s show. (She had won the motion picture academy’s humanitarian Oscar.)

And for comparison’s sake, here’s the montage Crystal used to open the show:
