‘Smash’ has its Marilyn

The “final” decision, in re who gets to play Marilyn Monroe, was revealed on Monday’s second episode of “Smash,” after Ivy (Megan Hilty) and Karen (Katharine McPhee) got brought back for a second callback, and the casting couch motif introduced.

Are we really surprised by the choice? Are we happy with the choice? Do we really think it’s “final”?
