Washington casting call: Oxygen’s ‘Best Ink’

”Best Ink” (Harper Smith - HARPER SMITH/OXYGEN MEDIA) Another reality show casting session is headed back to Washington, though for more of a niche crowd this time — but if you’re a tattoo artist, get ready.

“Best Ink,” Oxygen’s competition in which tattoo artists compete for $100,000 prize and a feature story in Tattoo Magazine, will be in Adams Morgan this weekend. The show lasts eight episodes and is hosted by former “American Idol” alum Kimberly Caldwell.

Here are the details --

When: Saturday, June 16 from 10 to 4 p.m.

Where: Town Tavern DC (2323 18th Street NW), a location favored by “Real World” producers as well
