WJLA launching digital The Live Well Network in Washington

Allbritton Communications, owner of ABC’s Washington affiliate WJLA-TV, will launch The Live Well Network in our TV markets on July 1.

The digital network’s lineup includes such programs as “My Family Recipe Rocks!” with singer/actor Joey Fatone, “Live Big with Ali Vincent” starring the first female winner of “The Biggest Loser,” and “Steven and Chris” starring interior decorators and style experts Chris Hyndman and Steven Sabados, who have their own line of products.

Other stations that have signed on as affiliates include the eight ABC-owned TV stations. This is not surprising, since The Live Well Network is operated by the ABC Owned Television Stations Group.

With the addition of WJLA, the network will be available in 60 percent of the country. Also on board are: 10 Scripps Television Station Group properties, seven Belo Corporation stations and various properties operated by Journal Broadcasting Group, Citadel Communications, Gannett Broadcasting, Bonneville International, Carlisle One Media, etc.
