WTTG adds general assignment reporter Audrey Barnes

Audrey Barnes (WTTG) WTTG has added new general assignment reporter Audrey Barnes to its lineup, the station announced.

Barnes was a freelancer for Washington’s Fox owned-and-operated station several times over the last decade, and has done stints as an achor and reporter at local WRC (Channel 4, NBC) and WUSA (Channel 9, CBS).

Banres, who will report for various newscasts during the day, officially starts on-air Monday, March 26. She replaces Sarah Simmons, who was promoted to morning news anchor last month.
