WUSA to launch new Sunday show with Bloomberg

Bloomberg Government is teaming up with WUSA, channel 9, to launch a new Sunday-morning panel-discussion program. The half-hour show, “Capitol Gains,” debuts Sunday after “Face the Nation” at 11:30 a.m.

The show’s focus is on Washington politics and lobbying, which dovetails with Bloomberg Government, the high-dollar suscription service started by Bloomberg last year.

First guests: Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Paul Orzulak, a foreign-policy speechwriter and special assistant to the president for national-security affairs in the Clinton Administration.

The TV show, which will also air on Bloomberg’s cable TV network, is hosted by Peter Cook, Bloomberg TV’s chief Washington correspondent.
