Brian Schweitzer (D) in an interview with The Daily Beast, in which he speculates that the Mitt Romney “could have issues nationally because his father was ‘born on a polygamy commune in Mexico.’” Romney’s grandparents were not polygamists, but were monogamous citizens in a Mormon colony in Mexico, a remnant of the polygamy once practiced there.
