Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) is heading to Iowa Thursday to campaign for Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.
McDonnell will hold a late morning event in Davenport and visit a campaign office in Coralville in the early afternoon, where he will be joined by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R).
McDonnell, chairman of the Republican Governors Association and one of the most popular governors in the nation, has been a key Romney surrogate across the nation and in the swing state of Virginia.
As he has done for previous political events, McDonnell will travel back and forth in one day.
