We told you on Monday that Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich will be in Richmond Thursday morning for a fundraiser for the state GOP.
Now we hear the former House speaker will be in Rosslyn the night before for a rally at the Key Bridge Marriott, an event that was first reported by Politico.
The appearance is part of an effort to get the necessary signatures for the Virginia ballot.
Candidates have until Dec. 22 to collect 10,000 signatures from across the state and another 400 from each congressional district.
The former speaker of the House was last in Arlington in August for the grand opening of his campaign headquarters.
