Gov. Bob McDonnell to headline Republican dinner in Ohio next month

Gov. Bob McDonnell, chairman of the Republican Governors Asscociation, will head to the swing state of Ohio next month.

about vice presidential candidate, will speak at the Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner on Feb. 17, a fundraiser for the Warren County, Ohio Republican party. Cost is $60 per person.

For those of you keeping tracking — and you know who you are -- this event will take place on a Friday night so no, he won’t be gone on a week day.

And it’s the same weekend McDonnell is speaking at the Missouri GOP’s largest event, the Missouri Lincoln Days and alongside Steve Forbes in Kansas to talk about “Winning the White House and Getting America on the Right Track in 2012.”

McDonnell, who has some of the highest approval ratings of any governor in the nation, spoke to New Hampshire Republicans in September.

The RGA will pay for the travel.
